What is SkillBridge?

DoD SkillBridge lets transitioning service members spend their final up-to-180 days in a civilian internship, apprenticeship, or fellowship — while still drawing military pay and benefits. The employer gets your labor at no cost; you get real civilian experience (and often a job offer). Your command must approve participation, and the organization must hold a current authorization (MOU) with DoD.
