DoD reporting confirmed PFAS in Fort Liberty groundwater (up to 95 ppt at a training location, 2022). Investigations identified 122 parcels with private wells possibly contaminated by AFFF used on base; residential wells tested up to 29 ppt PFOA and 32 ppt PFOS.

Fort Liberty (Fort Bragg) is NOT currently a VA presumptive location for PFAS. That does not mean claims fail, it means you have to establish the exposure and a medical nexus between PFAS and your condition. A free VSO can help build that connection.
