How does the BRS match work?

Under the Blended Retirement System: DoD auto-contributes 1% of your base pay starting day one (no match required). After 60 days of service, DoD matches dollar-for-dollar on your first 3% of contributions, plus 50% on the next 2% — for a maximum 5% match on top of the 1% auto. Total potential: 6% of base pay added to your account.

What is the SECURE 2.0 Roth catch-up rule for 2026?
