A 1971 US Army report cited a herbicide stockpile at Kadena, and a 2015 Department of Defense report analyzed Agent Orange handling on Okinawa. The VA and DoD have not recognized Okinawa as a presumptive location, though individual veterans have won claims on direct service connection.

Okinawa is NOT a VA presumptive Agent Orange location. Claims are decided case by case — you establish the exposure (unit records, buddy statements, the 2013–2014 Kadena dioxin-barrel excavations) plus a medical nexus, and some veterans have won on the benefit-of-the-doubt rule.
