In 2018 the Air Force notified New Mexico that testing at Holloman (and Cannon) detected PFOS and PFOA from firefighting foam used since the 1970s. Holloman's PFAS contamination is part of the state's litigation against the Air Force.

Holloman AFB is NOT currently a VA presumptive location for PFAS. That does not mean claims fail, it means you have to establish the exposure and a medical nexus between PFAS and your condition. A free VSO can help build that connection.
